Sample Models and Renderings

You can download each model from the 3D Warehouse, and render it, and then use the guidelines on the Information Page for that model to make some changes to learn how things work.

These models can be downloaded directly into SketchUp using the Sample Model Wizard in IRender nXt, or you can download them from our collection in the 3D Warehouse

These Sample Models are available from the Sample Model icon on the IRender nXt Toolbar. Load sample icon.jpg

Note: You can uncheck the Show the Wizard... box a the top so that this Wizard does not appear each time you start SketchUp.

Interior Conference Room

Using the Lighting Preset - Interior with sun - this model demonstrates the balance of interior and exterior lighting, the use of thick glass with Index of Refraction, and the use of reflective materials on the walls and ceiling.

This model uses sun, sky, interior lights, and reflection on the concrete surfaces to product a good dusk or evening effect.

  • Lighting Channels to balance sky and artificial lights.

Lighting Channels

By placing groups of light in lighting channels, you can balance and modify the lights as a Post Process after rendering. This saves lots of time because you do not need to repeatedly change lights and re-render in order to see the effects of lighting changes.

Water Effects

Settings such as Transparency , Index of Refraction and Procedural Bump Maps can be used to create varied water effects.
